The open today is shaping up to be uneventful. U.S. stock futures are signaling a relatively flat start for the markets.
Other than media headlines, there will not be a lot of market moving events. There will be Treasury auctions today, but there are no economic reports scheduled. We are currently in a lull ahead of second-quarter earnings season. Dow component Alcoa kicks off earnings season Wednesday, but most reports are not due until later in the month.
