U.S. stocks appeared set for a lower open, as investors awaited the release of the minutes from the Federal Reserves most recent policy meeting. The release is scheduled for 2:00 pm ET and will likely be the highlight in terms of economic data this week.
On Thursday, the producer price index, the weekly jobless claims and a report on international trade will be released. Reports on consumer prices, retail sales, and consumer confidence are scheduled for Friday. On the earnings front, Intel, JPMorgan Chase, General Electric, Google, and CSX are among those reporting this week.
