Market Notes - September 28, 2010

U.S. stock futures rose slightly as investors wait for the latest data on home prices and consumer prices. The S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index comes out at 9:00 am ET. Economists expect the report to show home prices are up 3.4% year-over-year, slightly lower than the 4.2% year-over-year increase reported in August. The Consumer Confidence Index comes out at 10:00 am ET, and is expected to show a slight decline from the previous reading.
