Market Notes - September 2, 2010

Stock index futures traded in a narrow range before the open. There is little in terms of economic news due out today. Overall mortgage applications dipped last week as refinances declined and new purchases rose. Tomorrow we will get the final GDP number and the weekly jobless claims.
