Market Notes - May 25, 2010

U.S. stock futures pointed to a lower start as European and Asian shares fell. U.S. Treasuries again were reaping the benefit.

Investors will turn their attention to the Case-Shiller home price index at 9:00 am ET. The index is expected to have risen 2.8% in March after climbing 0.6% in February. Investors disregarded the better-than-expected report on existing home sales yesterday. Separately, the Conference Board is expected to report its consumer confidence index for May rose to 59 from 57.9 last month.
