U.S. stock futures were stronger this morning, recovering after another sell off yesterday. European stocks were also higher this morning on optimism Europe will help Greece through its financial problems.
Today, the National Federation of Independent Businesses published its January small business optimism index. Confidence among U.S. small businesses increased for the first time in three months, reaching its highest point in 16 months. The government will be out with its December wholesale inventory numbers at 10:00 am ET, with that number expected to rise by 0.5% for the month after a 1.5% increase in November.
