Market Notes - November 9, 2010

U.S. stocks appeared set to open higher, after European markets rose on strong corporate earnings. There is little news to influence markets this morning. The only economic data scheduled for today is a report on wholesale inventories at 10:00 am ET. Economists expect to see a 0.6% increase after increasing 0.8% in September. Tomorrow we will see reports on mortgage applications, jobless claims, international trade, and the federal budget.
