Market Notes - June 18, 2010

Stock index futures were little changed early Friday. The modest moves come a day after the markets rallied in the last hour of trading to erase early morning losses.

There are no major economic reports scheduled today, so traders will turn their attention elsewhere. However, today’s trading session could be more choppy than normal due to quadruple witching. This is an event that occurs four times a year, when stock index futures, stock index options, stock options, and stock futures all expire at the same time.
