The futures market indicates a slightly lower start to trading after U.S. stocks pushed to 52-week highs yesterday.
The release of the latest Federal Open Market Committee minutes will happen at 2:00 pm ET. As usual, investors will look to the minutes for clues as to how and when the Federal Reserve will unwind its accommodative monetary policy. The central bank voted on March 16 to hold its key short-term interest rate at historic lows near 0% and said rates will remain “exceptionally low” for an “extended” period of time. There are no other major economic releases today.
