U.S. stock futures turned lower after yesterdays’ rally pushed the Dow 1.3% higher and the S&P 500 Index and the NASDAQ nearly 2% higher.
Investors are largely focused on Friday morning’s September employment situation report, but there will be plenty of other data in the interim. At 9:00 am ET today, we will get the latest S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index, expected to show that home prices in 20 major cities fell 14% in July from a year earlier. At 10:00 am ET, the Conference Board is out with its monthly Consumer Confidence Index.
